OYA Wild is a direct-dye fashion color. Advanced Direct Dye technology binds to the hair for even, vibrant, shiny results with no developer. Intense color shows on pre-lightened hair in as little as 10 minutes. On natural or darker colored hair it adds reflections rather than a full vivid stain. It lasts up to about 20 washes and fades on tone.
2. How do stylists apply OYA Wild?
For intense color, pre-lighten to level 9–10. Apply the creamy gel with gloves to clean, pre-lightened hair. Process 10–20 minutes. Emulsify and rinse. No OYA Lotion or Activator is mixed in. Darker bases will look more subtle. Porous ends grab faster, so watch those first.
3. How do you make pastels or custom shades with OYA Wild?
Intermix the vivid shades for custom fashion colors. Add Clear to sheer a shade into a pastel or to use as a shine service. Clear is the pastel and gloss mixer, not a toner for brass. Lift first if you need a true pastel; leftover warmth will shift pink, violet, and blue.
4. How is Wild different from Fresco, Demi, and Rapid Toners?
Wild is a no-developer direct dye for vivid and pastel fashion work. Fresco is a color-depositing conditioner for refresh and soft fashion stains. Demi and Rapid Toners are oxidative deposit toners mixed with 5 volume lotion or Activator. Wild is not a gray-coverage system and will not replace Neutrals Permanent Color.

Use OYA Sulfate Free Shampoo and conditioner so the dye fades slower and on tone. Avoid clarifying washes except when you want the color to drop. Add Leave-In Conditioner and Shield before heat.
