Use it to gloss, tone highlights, refresh blonde mid-lengths, or create a cool ultra-light blonde without lift.

2. How do stylists mix and process 10-91 (VA)?

Mix 1:1 with OYA Lotion 5 volume (1.5%) only. Process 10–20 minutes. Apply to towel-dried or dry hair. This is deposit-only demi color—it will not lift the natural level. After processing, emulsify, rinse, and shampoo with OYA Sulfate Free Shampoo, then condition.

3. When should a stylist choose 10-91 instead of Rapid Toner T-91 or 10-1 Ash?

Use 10-91 Demi when you want a cream-gel violet-ash gloss that sits in the same numbering system as OYA Permanent Color and can refresh mid-lengths during a retouch. Use Liquid Rapid Toner T-91 (Violet Ash / Snowfall) when you want a fast 5–20 minute liquid toner mixed with Activator after blonding. Use 10-1 (A) Ash when you need a straighter ash without the extra violet-blue of .91.

Add Violet or Blue Hybrid Concentrate if more neutralization is needed. Add Clear demi to drop intensity: about 1 part Clear to 2 parts 10-91 for one level softer, or 1:1 for a sheerer gloss. On porous ends, formulate one to two levels lighter or add Clear so the tone does not grab too cool.
