How to use
How to choose the right shade: Once you have understood the wish of your customer, choose the right shade by consulting the color chart.
How to choose the peroxide cream:
10 vol. (3%) tone on tone or darker tones,
20 vol. (6%) 1-2 lift levels;
30 vol. (9%) 2-3 lift levels;
40 vol. (12%) over 4 lift levels.
Preparation: Pour 50ml (1/2 tube) of Silky Color into a bowl. Add 75ml of peroxide (10, 20, 30 or 40 vol.) Mix until a homogeneous cream is obtained.
N.B. The dilution with Ultralifts is 1:2.
Application: Begin the application from the new growth: leave on for 30 minutes. Once the development time is over, pour a small quantity of warm water on the hair and emulsify the color with a gentle massage. Rinse thoroughly. Finish with a specific post-color shampoo.

1. What is Silky Coloration Cream used for in the salon?
Silky Coloration Cream is a permanent cream color for tone-on-tone, gray coverage, and lift. Tubes are 100 ml. Families include Naturals, Ash, Browns, Golden, Copper, Reds, Mahogany, Violet, and Ultralift. It is a color, not a demi gloss. Mix it only with Silky developer.
2. Which developer do stylists use?
Use 10 vol (3%) for tone-on-tone or darker. Use 20 vol (6%) for 1–2 levels and gray coverage. Use 30 vol (9%) for 2–3 levels. Use 40 vol (12%) when the chart calls for more than 3–4 levels. Use 5 vol only when the chart says toning. Higher volume lifts more and is harder on the hair.
3. How do stylists mix and apply it?
Mix 1:1.5. That is 50 ml of color, half a tube, with 75 ml of developer. Ultralift and the toner series mix 1:2. Mix in a non-metal bowl until the cream is even. Apply to dry, unwashed regrowth and process about 30 minutes, or 30–55 minutes if the chart asks for more lift. Emulsify with a little warm water, rinse, and finish with a post-color shampoo.
4. What safety steps matter?
Do a 48-hour patch test before each service, even if the client has colored before. Wear gloves. Shades can contain resorcinol and phenylenediamines. Keep the mix out of the eyes. Do not promise a level of lift the volume cannot give. Strand-test compromised hair.
