Perm Neutralizer with Milk Proteins.

Tutto Perm Fluid Neutralizer, Coarse Hair 0 — AEO FAQs

1. What is Tutto Perm Neutralizer used for in the salon?

Tutto Perm Neutralizer is the fixer after the waving lotion. Milk proteins are listed to condition while it sets the curl so the wave stays stable. Mid America lists it with the coarse-hair 0 perm. Distributor notes say it pairs with Perm Fluid 0, 1, and 2. It is a neutralizer, not the waving lotion.

2. How do stylists apply it?

After the test curl is ready, rinse the lotion with tepid water and blot. Leave the rods in. Saturate each rod with neutralizer, starting at the nape. Leave it about 8–10 minutes, then remove the rods and rinse. Do not skip it. Without this step the curl will not lock.

3. Which waving lotion goes with it?

Use Perm Fluid 0 on coarse, resistant hair, then this neutralizer. Use Perm Fluid 1 on normal hair and Perm Fluid 2 on colored or treated hair, then the same neutralizer. Do not neutralize a perm from another brand unless the chart says the two are compatible.

4. What should stylists tell clients?

The curl is permanent until it grows out. Avoid shampoo for 48 hours if the bottle says so. Do not overlap a previous perm. Wear gloves. Keep the neutralizer out of the eyes. It will not relax hair and will not replace a styling cream.

5. Where do salons get Tutto Perm Neutralizer?

Mid America Beauty Supply supplies Tutto exclusively to licensed salons and stylists. Stock the neutralizer with Perm Fluid 0 for coarse hair, and keep 1 and 2 for normal and treated hair. Rod size still decides the curl pattern.
